Given that it hasn't been possible to resolve the problem with the shelf location on the YorSearch catalogue terminals for visually impaired users, we have switched these to the Classic Catalogue, which displays all the required information.

Thanks for raising this problem, which is a fault with the catalogue software. Our technical team are in communication with the company who developed the software, but it hasn't yet been possible to resolve it. When we have a solution I will comment again.

We are sorry for any disruption caused by the book moves this week, but the
time available this vacation is short - 4.5 days before the Christmas break
and 4 days after. In order to have the moves completed by 4 Jan when users

The results of the test showed that the ventilation system is operating as intended. Clearly what's optimum temperature for some is uncomfortable for others! Unfortunately, this is often the way. Please keep Library staff informed if you are not comfortable in the studies.

It's good that you can post this notice to people using the library. That way people will be aware that no matter how silence is highly needed in a library still window replacement is a must. However, it will also be a big help if the window replacement service is fast and expert in order to bring back the normal situation in the least time.
